DEVELOPMENT OF MODEMS FOR ATMOSPHERIC OPTICAL COMMUNICATION LINES Since 1960, when a laser was developed, numerous experiments on the use of atmospheric optical communication lines (AOCL) have been conducted throughout the world. Progressively photodiodes have become better and nowadays the positive assessment of AOCL usage is supported by experiments on organizing of the communication between aircraft and tests of AOCL for satellite communication.

Development of FREEBSD operating system image for installing a virtual router and routing path switching software The pressing problem of the IT departments of many modern enterprises is the lack of server resources to process the necessary information. The article proposes to virtualize the server in order to increase its functionality. The scientific novelty consists in analyzing existing virtualization solutions, choosing a virtual platform and developing software for efficiently transferring the entire enterprise system to it without loss of time and data. Practical novelty consists in the development of software for automatic switching of routing paths written in Perl.

Peculiarities of overhead fiber optic cables mounting at low temperatures It is observed that the optical fiber bending radius on the cable fitting port outlet of the mounted sleeve decreased by the decreasing of temperature.
Presented are the results of the study of radii on the cable fitting port outlets for different types of cable makeups depending on background temperature and dependencies of cable fitting port outlets bending radii on the cable rigidity.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIBER OPTIC DWDM DCI INFORMATION NETWORKS The Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing optical fiber networks (DWDM networks) connecting the Data Centre Interconnects (DCI) and grows strongly because of increase their number and sizes. Besides, in the global digital information world the critical and important task is the access to data stored and processed in Data Centres which are interconnected, exchange with data and content and make backup copies and data in addition to the interaction with information customers.

Alexander S. Popov did not really see his triumph, and the tragic collisions of the beginning of the 20th century, especially in 1905, ended for him with a premature departure from life.
