On September 28, the conference hall of "Holiday Inn Lesnaya" hotel in Moscow hosted for the 15th time, the most, in the opinion of many specialists, professional forum-exhibition on the subject of critical communications held in Russia − the International Forum "Professional Networks and Communication Systems". One of the most frequently mentioned technologies of professional mobile communication at the jubilee forum was MC PTT.

The possibility of transferring the existing local cable networks of FTTD architecture to PoLAN technology at the realization of their horizontal subsystem on multimode optics is discussed. The variant of fulfilling this procedure by passive medium converters and their varieties of constructive performance are considered.

Formulated are the actual tasks to solve effectively the plan telecommunication networks to improve them according to the promising requirements of potential users. Models are offered to formalize tasks solved by economic and mathematical methods. The attention is focused on choosing the solutions intended to distinguish the maximum possible degree of invariants to change the external and internal factors, which determine the evolution processes of the info-communication systems. The expediency of finding new principles to create the universal infrastructure structures, which will be used by the combination of networks and systems belonging to companies from different economic realms and government structures.

The features of the assessment and the issues of increasing the efficiency of FOCL are considered. The indicator of economic efficiency NPV is proposed as an evaluation criterion. It is shown, that assessing the efficiency of fiber-optic communication lines, the special attention should be focused to the uncertainty risk issues. The main directions of increasing the efficiency of fiber-optic communication lines are presented.

Modern network operators, content and service providers must comply with the security requirements that govern the management and protection of sensitive data from disclosure, theft and misuse. The amount of sensitive data generated by companies and private users is steadily increasing. Traditionally stored and processed locally, data is now transported over shared network resources, often through the global network. The widespread use of virtual objects and cloud networks creates new threats of network vulnerability to external attacks. Security is one of the most important benefits of 5G, which will serve as a critical infrastructure for digitilisation, automation and connectivity to machines, robots, vehicle control, etc. The paper considers the security and protection of sensitive data in the provision of telecommunication services based on 5G networks. The first part of the article focuses on the topic of international standardization of telecommunication network security.
