PROSPECTS FOR THE USE OF TERAHERTZ FREQUENCY BAND IN 6G NETWORKS. PART 2
DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2022.108.8.10.16

One of the important differences between 6G mobile networks and 5G Advanced generation will be the use of 6G sub-terahertz (sub-THz) and terahertz frequencies for a number of key services. An analysis of the use of sub-terahertz and terahertz wavelengths in 6G mobile networks is provided, based on the vision for the development and shape of such networks by international and national 6G network projects, as well as the future development of the electronic component base for these frequency bands.

INFOCOMM COMPETENCE IS AN IMPORTANT PROFESSIONAL QUALITY OF A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL
DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2022.108.8.70.75

This paper considers the phenomenon of "info communicative competence" as one of the important components of professional social competence by a modern qualified specialist. The paper describes the existing professional skills and knowledge that confirm the professional qualification of a specialist in the modern society; such concepts as professional, methodological, social, communicative, sociocultural and informational competencies are revealed; the role of possession of info communicative competence in the professional development of a person is discovered. The authors attempt to analyze the communicative models and techniques that contribute to a harmonious relationship, successful cooperation, and leadership; the analysis of techniques and models that positively affect the formation of information and communication competence; recommendations for optimizing the process of formation of the above-mentioned competencies of future specialists.

GENERATIONS OF FIXED NETWORKS F1G–F5G
DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2022.108.8.34.40

A brief overview of the interim results of the ongoing study by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) on the evolution of fixed networks and the definition of their capabilities and principles of construction for the near future is presented. According to ETSI vision, this evolution can be designated as five generations F1G–F5G, by analogy with the generations of mobile networks. The features of fixed networks implementation of the fifth generation F5G are presented.

APPLICATION OF MULTICORE OPTICAL FIBERS FOR QUANTUM NETWORKS
DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2022.108.8.44.51

The prospects for the use of multicore optical fiber for the construction of quantum networks are analyzed. It is shown that such multicore fiber has a number of advantages in implementing the technology of quantum key distribution between several groups of subscribers. Using an interuniversity quantum network with a total length of 17 km, test experiments were carried out on the simultaneous implementation of three quantum and four classical communication channels development through one multicore fiber. The possibility of simultaneous transmission of classical and quantum data through a multicore fiber using both phase and polarization coding has been demonstrated, which made it possible to form quantum keys between three pairs of subscribers.
