The journal Last Mile covers the whole variety of issues concerning technologies and challenges of building telecommunication access networks.
Remit of the Journal
Journal Last Mile is a Russian scientific and technical journal. Is published in Moscow since 2007.
The publication presents the “last mile” wireless technologies state-of-art, technologies and equipment, design and building access networks approaches. Within the journal field of view there is a wide topics spectrum: from theoretical aspects of designing telecommunication systems to subscribers broadband accesses networks practical issues, from the components base to telecommunication cables.

S.A. Popov - agraduate of the Moscow Electrotechnical Institute of Communications (now - MTUCI), Ph.D., academic rank - associate professor, has the degree "Master of Communication".
In 1985 - 1999 years Sergey Popov worked in MTUCI.
Since 2000 he has worked in the telecom journalism.
S.A. Popov worked as a scientific editor, and since 2008 - deputy editor of the journal "Journal of Communication."
From 2014 - Sergey Popov is the chief editor of "First Mile".
